About AllUnitConvertor
AllUnitConvertor is a free, fast unit & measurement converter that runs entirely in your web browser. It covers 80 categories and more than 500 units — from everyday length, weight, temperature and volume to specialised engineering, heat, fluids, light, electricity, magnetism and radiology units — plus live currency rates.
Alongside instant two-way conversion, AllUnitConvertor shows a live conversion table (your value expressed in every unit at once), predictive search, one-tap favourites, a quick-convert bar, light and dark themes, and full keyboard access. It is designed to follow WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidance.
Everything except live currency rates works offline, and the app is built to be private by design: no accounts, no tracking and no ads. Your favourites and preferences stay on your device — see the .
Accuracy
Conversions use standard, internationally recognised definitions. Currency figures use live mid-market reference rates with an offline fallback and are provided for general reference only. Please read the .

Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AllUnitConvertor.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use AllUnitConvertor.com (the “Service”). In short: the Service runs entirely in your web browser and is designed so that we do not collect, store on our servers, or transmit your personal information. The Service is operated from India, and where data-protection law applies we act as the “Data Fiduciary” (or “data controller”) for the limited technical processing described below.
1. Information we do not collect
- No accounts, registration, or sign-in.
- No cookies.
- No analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or advertising.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of personal data.
- We do not ask for — and you should not enter — any sensitive personal information.
2. Information stored on your device
To make the Service useful, it saves a small amount of data in your browser’s local storage (a private area on your own device): your favourite conversions, your theme preference, and a cached copy of the latest currency rates. This information stays on your device, is never sent to or seen by us, and is not linked to your identity. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
3. Network requests and third parties
The Service is delivered by our hosting / content-delivery provider, which — like any website — necessarily processes standard technical connection data (such as your IP address and browser type) in order to deliver and secure the site. In addition, the Service makes one outbound request to fetch currency exchange rates from a third-party provider (a public content-delivery network serving the open-source @fawazahmed0/currency-api). That request shares your device’s IP address and standard request information with the provider, but never includes anything you type or convert. If your device is offline or blocks the request, the Service uses cached or built-in rates and everything else keeps working. These third parties process data under their own policies.
4. Cookies and tracking
We do not use cookies or similar cross-site tracking technologies. The local storage described above is used only to remember your settings on your own device; it is not used to track you across sites or sessions elsewhere.
5. Data safety & security
Our strongest privacy protection is data minimisation — not collecting data in the first place. In addition:
- Encryption in transit: the Service is served over HTTPS (TLS), so traffic between your browser and our provider is encrypted.
- No central store of personal data: because we do not maintain accounts or a user database, there is no central repository of your personal information that could be lost, stolen, or breached.
- On-device data: your favourites, preferences, and cached rates live only in your browser. They are protected by your own device and browser security and are accessible to anyone with access to your device — so please use standard device protections and avoid entering sensitive data.
- No third-party trackers or ad networks: we do not embed advertising or analytics code that could collect your data.
- Trusted providers: our hosting / CDN and the currency-data source maintain their own security controls for the infrastructure they operate.
- Responsible disclosure: if you believe you have found a security or privacy issue, please email contact@allunitconvertor.com so we can investigate and address it.
We aim to maintain reasonable security practices and procedures appropriate to the minimal data involved, consistent with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so while we strive to protect the Service, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Legal framework and your consent
We aim to comply with applicable data-protection laws, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (together with the SPDI Rules, 2011), as well as global frameworks such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), to the extent they apply to you. Because the Service does not collect personal data from you, our processing is limited to the standard technical data your browser sends to our hosting/CDN provider to deliver and secure the site. By using the Service, you consent to this limited processing as described in this policy; you can withdraw at any time by discontinuing use of the Service and clearing your on-device data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. Under India’s DPDP Act, 2023, as a “Data Principal” you have the right to access information about processing, to seek correction or erasure of your personal data, to grievance redressal, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights. Under the GDPR/UK GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA you have comparable rights, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we do not collect or hold personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or erase on our side — you remain in full control of the on-device data described above and can clear it at any time through your browser. To exercise any right or ask a question, use the contact details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
8. Grievance redressal
If you have any concern or complaint about how your data is handled, you may contact us at contact@allunitconvertor.com. We will acknowledge and address grievances within the timelines required under applicable law, including the DPDP Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Consistent with the DPDP Act, 2023, we do not track, profile, behaviourally monitor, or serve targeted advertising to children, and we would require verifiable parental or guardian consent before knowingly processing the personal data of anyone under 18 — but because we collect no personal data from any user, no such processing takes place. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it.
10. International users and data transfers
The Service and its providers operate globally, and content may be served from servers in various countries. By using the Service, you understand that standard technical request data may be processed in locations outside your own country, in accordance with applicable law.
11. Do Not Track
Because we do not track users, we treat every visitor the same way regardless of any “Do Not Track” browser signal.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and your continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance.
13. Contact
For any privacy question or request, email contact@allunitconvertor.com.
